Parents of 4th graders, we need your help with the End of Year Celebration!
It may seem like they just started kindergarten, but the Class of 2020 (!) is getting ready to leave Pond Cove and move on to Middle School! We are working out the details for the 4th grade end of year celebration and will get them to you as soon as dates and times are confirmed. In the meantime, plans are underway for a class memory book and slide show for the celebration.
Please select and send in 2 pictures of your 4th grader. We need these pictures by February 28, 2012.
1. Baby/infant photo - Please make sure your kiddo is fully clothed so no one gets embarrassed.
2. Current photo - Please note that we can use your child's current school photo if you would like, but please let us know.
We would prefer to receive high resolution/quality digital files if possible. If that is unavailable to you, please make sure the photo you send in is of good quality for scanning, Note that we cannot guarantee that you will get these photos back. We will make every attempt to do so but cannot guarantee that they will be returned or not damaged.
All digital/electronic files should be sent to Joanne Lee at joanne@joanneleephoto.com. Actual photos should be clearly labeled with the childs name and sent in an envelope to the school via the front office. If you have any questions about the photos please direct those to Joanne.
If you have any other questions about the celebration please contact Carmensol Kesselhaut (carvelo@hotmail.com) or Terri Patterson (terrinpatterson@gmail.com).
Thank you so much for your help with this!
4th grade parents are invited to a short, informal ceremony in the cafetorium to celebrate the 4th graders "graduating" from Pond Cove and moving up to the Middle School. The ceremony includes songs, speeches, congratulations and a slide show.
After the celebration, students go back to their classrooms to receive their memory books.
