Bingo Night 2011 was a huge success!!!

More than 75 families participated in this fun-filled event with a festive Mardi Gras theme. Many thanks to Bingo Night co-chairs Erin O'Connel-Taylor and Janelle Deschino, and the parent and student volunteers. And thank you to Eileen Hetrick and Kimberly Shur for all their hard work on the raffle which raised nearly $3,000 to offset costs for PCPA programs and support Pond Cove teachers, staff and programs.

2011 Raffle Winners

  • Gym Teacher for the Day – Aidan Lee, 3rd Grade

  • $75 Gift Certificate to Community Services (can be used toward any program, camp, or party) – Anne Rossi, mom of Marco Hansel, 2nd Grade
  • Lunch with Mrs. Gallagher for you and up to 3 friends – Julia Moran, 4th Grade
  • $50 Gift Certificate to Flatbread – Ada Smith, 2nd Grade
  • Cooking lesson for you and up to 2 friends – Analise Gordon, 2nd Grade
  • Student Announcer (make afternoon announcements for two school days) – Josie Boeschenstein, 3rd Grade
  • Entry fees & T-shirts for a family to run in the Pond Cove 5K (up to 5 people) – The Dresser Family
  • Create the PC lunch menu for the first two Wednesdays in June – Mike Mackenzie, 4th Grade
  • Principal for the Day – Julia Trowbridge, 1st Grade
  • Ride to school in a Fire Truck for you and 4 friends – Caroline Concannon, Kindergarten
  • Private tour of the Portland Head Light for up to 10 people – Sal Deschino, 2nd Grade
  • Have a room in Pond Cove named after you for the rest of the school year (a sign with the student's name will be posted outside of the room that the student chooses) – Jameson Bakke, 4th Grade
  • Free admission to all PCPA events for the 2011 – 2012 school year – Frederick Shur, 1st Grade

Proceeds from bingo and the raffle help fund Arts Day and Teacher Grants and other PCPA programs at the Pond Cove School.
