Events & ProgramsCraft NightThursday, February 10th in the Pond Cove Cafetorium, 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Co-Chair: Heather Evans About 180 Pond Cove students, their parents and many younger siblings joined in the fun on February 10th to craft the night away. The tables were filled with people stringing beads on pipe cleaners for snowflakes, decoupaging boxes, creating tissue paper flowers, valentine card masterpieces, bird feeder balls made of crisco, oatmeal and bird seed and friendship pins. Craft Night's primary purpose is to get families together for a fun night, but in 2011 the event raised over $500. Craft Night – a FUN-raiser at heart – was also a successful fundraiser in 2011 raising more than $500 for the PCPA!! Thank you very much Heather and Marisa and all the parent and student volunteers. The night ran incredibly smoothly and there were enough supplies for everyone to create to his or her heart's content. The bake sale treats were a big hit as well. We hope all who attended had a wonderful time and we look forward to seeing you again next year!
