PCPA Meeting Calendar
We meet in the Pond Cove Cafetorium at 9:00 a.m. and 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month (with the exception of vacation weeks and/or when otherwise noted). Young children are welcome.
We are committed to offering evening meetings for those who cannot attend in the morning, but with consistently low attendence, we would appreciate it you would PLEASE let us know if you plan to attend an evening meeting by emailing Katie Gillespie.
If you have any questions or suggestions regarding PCPA meetings, please don't hesitate to contact co-presidents Janelle Deschino or Katie Gillespie. They want to hear from you!!

2010–2011 Meeting summaries:
- Wednesday September 22, 2010 – We had great attendence with many new faces. Thank you to everyone for your enthusiasm and ideas. View minutes.
- Wednesday October 20, 2010 – Three grants were approved. View minutes.
- Wednesday November 17, 2010 – Two grants were discussed and approved. The possibility of starting an endowment program was introduced and discussed. View minutes.
- Wednesday January 19, 2011 – Two grants were discussed and approved. View minutes.
- Wednesday February 16, 2011 – Ken Murphy, interim superintendent, spoke to the group and answered questions. Four grants were discussed and approved. View minutes.
- Wednesday March 16, 2011 – One grant was discussed and approved. Katie Gillespie announced that, for personal and family reasons, regretfully she will not be continuing as president of the PCPA next year. View minutes.
- Wednesday, April 13, 2011 – One grant for shadow boxes for the 1st grade to support its oceans and whales curriculum was approved. Ang Foley reported on Stan Davis' visit and Loralee Schaedel reported on the activities planned for the Teacher of the Year committee visit to Pond Cove to review Ingrid Stressinger's nomination.
